Raw Fiction is a youth

literary arts project for

writers aged 16-20.

Discussions and curriculum

are designed to engage the

young writer in critical

thinking while the emphasis

on project management

equips youth with skills

to be leaders in a

collaborative environment.
This website works dually as an

archive for Raw Fiction's activities

and as a template for replication.

Want to do a literary arts project in

your community? Feel free to read

through Raw Fiction's curriculum

with lesson plans, theoretical

questions around language and

recruitment, and visit our archives

of past iterations of the project.

Raw Fiction was most recently funded by the Taconic Fellowship granted by the Pratt Center for Community Development, The Peterson Family of the Pinkerton Foundation and the support of individual donors.
